Linked EA Account

I have a new EA account due to having a new email. How do I unlink the old EA account from my steam account?
EDIT: The old EA account was deleted years ago. EA help has confirmed to me that my steam account is not linked to any EA accounts, but my steam account still thinks it is.

I never asked EA to delete any EA account? I deleted it myself when I was deleting my old email.

So you login to your EA account, and open setting, and click delete EA account is that correct?

My former one, yes. I am trans, and didn't want anything related to my former name.

You do realize you can literally change your details on your EA account right???

You click EDIT on basic info, you can change your ID, real name, and birth date.

EA app informing you your Steam account cannot be linked because it is already linked to your old EA account with gmail.

EA Support informing you your Steam account is not linked to an EA account because they cannot see the previous link as you deleted your old account.

You need to contact EA Support. Link the image showing you previously had an EA account with gmail linked to your Steam account and that will allow them to understand what the issue is.
