Deleted a screenshot from the cloud, the file and thumbnail are still on the disk, but are not shown in the uploader anymore, so there is obviously some kind of screenshot index in the client. Where is it?

Exit Steam to fully clear the recent action. Use Steam, top left or the bootloader to fully exit.

For those who may need it, it is located in Steam\userdata\userid\760\screenshots.vdf and deleting this file causes it to be recreated from existing screenshot files, treating them as new screenshots.
