Hi there. What I want to know is, if my friend ( who lives in australia ) buys US steam gift cards for me ( living in Nepal ) , can I redeem the card / code ? since there is no NPR currency on steam for out country, is that viable? TIA

If your account uses USD, you should be able to redeem USD wallet cards.

The USD_SASIA region should be able to use USD cards, yes.
