You will likely have better luck asking on the Metal Gear forums since there is not an industry standard for that.

i am referring to games in general, i just used mgr:r as a test to see if the commands work

As said, there is no industry standard or standard command. The launch commands you want to use only work on games if they actually support it, for example.

As far as I know, MGR:R doesn't support borderless windowed, for example. There are external programs that do force it, but some can cause framedrops, I think. But you'll have to research that. Github likely has things, otherwise a Google search will get you far enough, I reckon.

you cant simply add in commands to every game, if the ENGINE the game is using doesnt support said command...

i see loads of people putting commands in games, that dont even use said commands and somehow think its doing something, when it doesnt.

if you want to use commands for borderless windowed (or anything else for that matter), then search the engine for the game and use the commands listed.

or even easier (for your case), use the in-game options and set it to borderless windowed (assuming the game gives the option)..

edit: the game you mentioned in the OP supposedly uses "PlatinumEngine", which is an in-house engine and doesnt seem to have launch command list easily searchable or doesnt exist online, so you need to go ask the devs of that game for a list of launch commands.

that being said, simply search "(insert game engine here) launch commands", after searching and finding out what any of the games engines are, then paste them (in steams launch options for each game) in correctly and they will work.

also to note, valve/steam launch commands do not work on games not made by valve, unless the engine supports the same launch commands.
