Steam Keeps removing all my friends

Steam has several times removed all the friends on my account, for no discernible reason, i have no idea how to fix this issue and would appreciate some help from all of you. thank you in advance.

I've never heard of Steam removing all friends from any account for any reason.

scammers that have access to the account will remove the friends and then add themselves in an attempt to impersonate someone from steam support. as cSg|mc-Hotsauce stated, make sure your account is secured. 

Steps to take NOW to secure the account:
1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

if its compromised, try to figure out how you gave away the log in

I use steam guard and i don't enter my account into any third party websites, so i believe it is. i re friended some of them and then it removed them again if that helps.

steam guard is not some magic shield that stops everything. it is simply an extra layer of protection like a bullet proof vest. wearing a bullet proof vest does not mean you are immune from hurt/killed by a bullet.
