Windows 11 24H2 unstable version is not compatible with the latest gpu version
Microsoft do not make other Brand product driver they are given to them.
this is well know for most tech person.
not a MS problem if driver even work, just so it dont crash core stability. ( so technicaly you can install the driver and nothing works. )
also why i tell pll this. ( and so should other steam users ) that know this.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aloo why in so many post its say make custom install and make a clean install then checkbox is there.
this is standard reply from Nvidia live tech in most of the time, AMD users use DDU. and still do as fare as i know even then some AMD users say AMD also have clean install now. in the past.
gl with it.
Kindly read this before commenting further
Must be a 3rd party program causing it
Since i can log in to steam without any problems at all on my desktop
e.g ccleaner, full version malwarebytes are known to conflict with steam platform
Am completely stumped at this point :(
Honey, I am the tech person. Buying a whole new PC is not a solution, and I hope you won't presume that all the users affected by this issue have the means to even do so. I also have not asked you or anyone here for support, so please don't insinuate that I've done otherwise.
You are correct that Microsoft will not fix the issue, because there's no evidence that Windows is the cause and no amount of calling support numbers would get anyone with a reasonable knowledge of graphics drivers necessary to create a workaround. There's not much I can do except try to keep this thread somewhat factual until we (hopefully) get word from Valve.
This is the problem you bought it, go to that place with the support issue.
and you should already know this, if you work with IT.
Dont pull that leg here i work with IT and then you do not know who has support for product.
The moment you call me ''a liar''
And never read my entire post
Shows how disrespectful and insulting you are towards others
Is the problem resolved after rolling back to 23H2?????
I worked on it for about 12 hrs and then just had move on.
Feel free to share what you did, not for my sake , but all other steam users that might could use tip, hey it up to you to contributed no matter how simple it is, and steam moderator wll lock post if so many post a simple Solutions , they dont need 1000+ i agree on the post, but i bet steam moderator already have seen this before.
ps.
dont forget other side of this, steam will not post and then it look like adminting they are resposible for it, then it work for so many others, im sure many forget this other side of the current issue , until they can proof it.
In my case, reverting to version 23H2 did not solve the issue, and none of the suggestions from the forum thread worked.
