Woke up to all my trading cards being sold. direction needed.

hi i just woke up to all my trading cards being sold and dota 2 stuff being bought. how do i contact steam about this and get my items back or the ones the have been frozen from being traded.

iv reset every password from emails to steam guard. i recently installed rainway its a pc based app to have better functions playing my games while away from home using my systems software hard wear. unfortunately its also malware Norton picked it up but not windows defender. and i didn't noticed untill this morning.

Hijacked not hacked. Follow steps 1-6 to secure your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

this what happens when you use your steam login on other things then steam and dont lie about we see every day ppl saying the same thing their stuff got sold when thhey was sleeping and not you dont gonna get your stuff back

and i didnt logg into the site witth my credentials nor did the app work i was not able to use the app because it would just open then close. your welcome vm it and test it for you self.

no one did hack your steam only why to get it is if you gave it a way

Trading cards aren't worth enough to need the mobile app the confirm trades or sales.

If your system was compromised that'd be why. That said do everything in step 1 to ensure your account is secure. If you have Steam always remember your login so you don't have to enter username, password and Guard code who ever had access to your system could have stolen your session cookie. With that they can put it in the same place on their system and Steam would think it's your saved logged in session.

On that not it might also be wise to change your password on any accounts that you have permanently saved. This includes email via a web browser.

yuh im going through every thing now, im even back tracking to why rainway still allowing you to download there app and install it if there services have been shuttered since 2019. its the only on service that i have tried thus far before this.

Not always. Some cards are worth a lot, especially foil cards from games where there isn't a big community of people trying to get the games badges (so few free boosters get dropped).

just update, I did have my computer compromised. rainway was the culprit. they were able to download all my saved passwords from computer while they remoted in. from PayPal to FB to my saved credit cards. its been a constant change password and they have access to my main and secondary emails . changing passwords isn't enough. I have to get new credit cards, new email address and have to wipe my systems.so many attempts at charging my credit cards. to added sketch email address to my PayPal accounts. F me.

I know this sounds very weird but could you please add me on steam. I would like to chat with you about this, since I had the same problem with rainway and some of my inventory items were sold aswell
