Automated Redfall DLC refunds inadvertently removed the base game, and other games I bought in the same Steam Store order
It seems like Redfall issued automatic refunds into the Steam wallets of users who bought the Bite Back Edition, since the DLC has been canceled.

But it seems like there was a bug that also refunded the base game and other non-related games if they were in the same Steam order during checkout.

I got refunded Hunt: Showdown, Hogwart's Legacy, and Company of Heroes 3 automatically alongside the Redfall base game.

My guess is that since I had less than 2 hours of gameplay in Redfall and these other games, they were mistakenly flagged as part of Redfall's automated DLC refund.

I only noticed this when I saw a few extra hundred US dollars in my Steam Wallet, and those other games are no longer in my Steam library.

I've opened up a ticket with Steam Support, hopefully they can undo this without needing me to rebuy these games, because some of them had pre-order only items.

I've checked the login activity of my Steam account and associated email, there's no unusual activity, and I have 2FA on my Steam account via my phone's Steam app. I also did a full system scan with Windows Defender, Malwarebytes, and Bitdefender. No sign of any malware.

This seems to have affected some other users here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/1294810/discussions/0/4336483289196932270/

Has anyone else noticed this?

Not really, no.

Keep us updated on how it goes with support.

Frankly, if I were in your place I would wait till next Steam Sale instead of opening ticket to Support.
