Deleted comment history

Quick question about deleted comments.

In the past, when I've deleted a comment from a post, a copy of the comment remained in my post history. It stays viewable to at least myself, but is removed from the public forum.

Recently, I saw a couple of the long ago deleted comments disappear altogether from my post history though. Did something change recently? Do they now only stay in my history for a limited amount of time, or is it maybe just bugged at the moment?

Yeah. Cross checking my post history with my comment history, the discrepancy between the 2 is only about 500 posts when I should have over 14,000 post difference.

I don't know what happened or when. Probably some long overdue cleaning.

Okay yeah, thanks. Figured maybe it is a temporary thing, a bug, or maybe there's a time limit to how long they last now. It's not a big deal, was just wondering if anything was announced regarding that.

It's even worse. Using the search in the post history is no longer completely in descending chronological order. The first few are but then it just goes random as F***.

I tried looking up a post from yesterday that I know should be the top entry in the search but was dumped on page 30 of 35 of the search...

Some were leftovers from when I was banned. Others were from the many threads that either mods or the OP's deleted.

Same issue here, deleted comments are gone from history

Same here — deleted comments completely gone from my history, and with them, the info of which profile I commented on.
I didn't bother committing the profile name to memory.
