Hm, I thought that might work, but since he made only 2 troll posts and they were recent he may have just had a bad day and so I'm not ready to do that. If he apologizes or repents I won't see it.
Is there any way to hide just a single post from a person?
The Steam forums are public, therefore, all threads in these forums are available to everyone.
You can block the person to hide posts and threads they made, but others will still be able to see them.
I'm not sure, but I think you may have misunderstood. I didn't mean hide it from everyone's view. I meant hide it from my view.
Is this possible?
If not, I guess I should suggest such a feature. Ugly posts that aren't reportable yet not block-worthy should be hide-able.
Or just ignore that person and move on. Those are the choices you have on Steam.
That's good to know!!
Thanks! That solves that problem of never knowing if they wanted to apologize/repent if I were to block them!
