how to family share?

so i enabled it and how do i enable games for my gf to play on? Does she have to log into my acc first or how do i give her acces to sims 4?

Sims 4 cant be family shared since it needs a third party account ( EA PLAY).
Generally games that need third party logins like games from EA, ORIGIN, UPLAY, ROCKSTAR and such are excluded from Steam Family Share.

wait but i remmeber using her acc to play it and it had all dlc? i think? im not sure tho

Well, yeah. If you played on HER account then of course you could play it.
But Family Share is not playing on the account of another user, its borrowing that users game license to play on your own account.
Which is not possible with games from EA.

Wait so whats the best way for her to play sims4 wtih all the dlc since i own the dlc and she dont, she log in my acc then log in back to her acc to paly it?

The only way for her to play Sims 4 with the DLC is to buy the missing DLC on her account.
There is no way for her to play your DLC with her version of Sims 4 on her account.
This is a case where even family share cant help you since Sims 4 is excluded from it.

Also letting her play on your account ( or you on hers) is actually not allowed and can lead to the suspension of all involved accounts, thats called "accout sharing" and is mentioned in the Steam TOS.

ah ok well i need to play on my acc anyways so she will buy the dlc herself then
