if you go to Sony for help you will see automated prompts to buy a PS5 to solve all your Sony-created problems.
The thing is turning the light off in big picture fixed this issue in the past, but I noticed some months back with the update with controllers on Steam that it became an issue.
And now after being in-game for a few hours the light is off... -_- IDK, definitely either a bug or something. I just know when I open a game again it's going to turn back on.
Either set Steam Input for all games or live with the blue light of battery consumption.
"Sony is worse than apple" -- SCE doesn't endlessly screw over third party repair technicians, set up right-to-repair honeypots, send millions to offshore banks to evade taxes, gaslight people with BS computer security lectures, or sell people on a fashion statement alone with overpriced products that are obsolete by the next year. They aren't still using controller tech from 30 years ago either. If you want good gyro support it's either that or the Steam Controller. There's a reason a lot of people on Steam willingly use Dualshock.
