It comes up with activation code, so I put the serial code from steam and it doesn't work. So steam sold me a corrupt key or what am I doing wrong?
What do I need to do to make this game work??

How did you bought your key? From which website?

I bought Dead Space 2 from Steam once. That also stopped working after some time. I had to get it on Origin to get a functional version. (But not the EA App, because the EA App needs to connect to the internet all the time, and because of that is terrible.)

the code that is given to me says its the harley quinn serial, but that is the dlc

So you can't run game, despite it being installed? When you try it asks for code, but that code is for DLC?

Did I understand you correctly?

then when i click next i get this

I also have a window that has an unlock request code.

I'm pretty sure that game is trying to run GfWL.
First:

• Choose the game from your Steam Library.
  
• Select the cogwheel icon on the right.
  
• Choose Manage and then CD Keys.

If you don't have any cd-keys there, uninstall B:AC and install GOTY version.
This one should have it removed.

If it still won't work, then you need to contact support as per 3rd post.

SecuROM truly sucks. Now they call it Denuvo I think.
Denuvo also sucks. You need to pay attention none of that garbage is in your game.

i have a key in the cd keys and its that that doesnt work, also ive used the securom that doesnt work. it gives me an unlock request code and i put all that into the securom webpage and it doesnt give me a code to use.

Any way to activate this game on Steam, I bought the GOTY version a long time ago (Origin/EA games) and felt like playing it again but I cannot re-install it and the link to install it on steam provides a process that no longer exists it seems (The EA game portal directs you to STEAM for this game to be installed), activating the product key does nothing for it :(.
