flash player

adobe flash player says its upto date but steam wont let me view game videos on the store page saying i need the newest flash player.... is anyone else having this problem? i even uninstalled and reinstalled it twice now







edit:
i got this fixed by uninstaling then reinstaling flash player then restarting the computer.

I finally got mine working on win 8.1 this morning.
1. I went to adobe.com and clicked on menu at the top of the screen.
2. I selected adobe flash player near the bottom of the screen that opened.
3. on next screen, where it says "To download the Adobe® Flash® Player system plug-in, click here. For instructions on how to enable it, click here." I clicked on the first click here link right after it says Flash® Player system plug-in.
4. the next screen listed my windows version and chrome. I unchecked install McAffe and then clicked the install button.
5. AFter that just follow the instructions on the screen.
6. When install is done, close chrome and exit steam. You need to shut it down from programs that are running). If you dont know how to do this just reboot your computer.
7. After restarting steam the videos were working again.

it was in the game store and iu wasnt in game i was just brousing the store on steam and it wasnt working but i got it fixed so success i guess haha

It won't even let you do that. It tells you that Flash is built into IE for Win8 and won't even give you a link to download it.

Well thats weird I can download the installer and install it.

its not the intergrated adobe that comes with win8, exit steam install it and restart steam.

Got a question, is it normal when you download the adobe installer, click the installer 2 times like instructed in the guide, click ''yes'' to allow this programm make changes to make computer and nothing happens after that?No installation process, no nothing.You just accept that it will make changes to your computer and nothing happens.

Disabled Windows SmartScreen and everything is working now, thanks my self!
