Counter Strike : Source price
First of all, It is a fun game that people enjoy. Here is the problem. CSS Has been out for quite a while now, and still, the price is pretty high. With the release of Counter Strike : Global Offensive, the newest release of Counter Strike, I would have expected the older title price to drop, but Counter Strike : Source still has a higher price than the newest release.
Also, Because the price is high in the Garry's Mod + Counter Strike Source Bundle as well, people tend to buy Garry's Mod on it's own, then realise they need CSS for the textures on some of the online servers they play. If the price was lower, more people could afford to buy it, instead of having to save up or not buying it at all. Sometimes, lower price means more buys.

Perhaps having the new game cheaper than the old one is an effort to push players towards the new game? I mean, that makes sense if Valve is planning on investing more in the future of Global Offensive than it is in Source. I'm sure there's many more factors at play though, Valve does not assign prices willy-nilly. I would be interested in hearing the reasons why they chose the prices they did.

Buy it on a sale.

That is not the point of this discussion, but that has come to mind. But the sale on it is not every day, so people have to wait for the sales they want.

You do have a point there, I know what you mean. I too would like to hear the reasons.
I was just thinking that the game should be cheaper because it is fun and a requirement for another. I have played most Counter Strikes, and I like them. Sometimes, I don't have the money to buy my favourite games. I would have loved to add CSS to my collection but I do not have the money to do so. And waiting for a sale is... well, just boring. You don't exactly know when the sales will be on.
3 words, Third-Party-Sites.
Maybe, RaVeNN, you could've just waited a few weeks? I don't think Valve would miss out on putting a sale on its own game. I still need to get the new one, which may prove to be better.

Well sometimes I am impatient. And what if they get better deals to put on from bigger companies and better games?
Then stop being impatient! No jk. I know exactly how you feel. I want Dragonborn on the freaking PS3, not the PC! OR the XBOX 360...

I want Skyrim first, before getting Dragonborn :D And no.
Well, If the PS3 wasn't so hard to develop for, then I would of been really happy just less than a year ago.
so if i get the bundle will i get both origional games or will i get the 2 games combined
