Steam Linux Installation Error
When I tried to install Steam on Ubuntu, it came up with the error dependency is not satisfiable: curl. It wouldn't allow me to press the download button on the Ubuntu Software Center.

http://www.ubuntu.com Idk why :valve: dose not block this URL, not spammed enough? Do they not know that ubuntu contains Amazon Ads and dataleaks by default? I mean heck they block websites for having referal links, but not links to this kind of software?

I tried that before and it didn't work, but I tried it again and it did work. But now, when I try to install Steam, it says: Failed to download package files, Check your internet connection.

Btw,it would be good to mention if your internet works fine for other services, state that it's just steam causing the problem.

If not, check iwconfig or ifconfig with the current interface, setup dhcp if needed. If this is a fresh ubuntu install, try SteamOS.

I tried the alternative methods and they worked! I am currently installing steam through the launcher. I'll post if anything goes wrong.
