Mount & Blade Warband not downloading

So I bought mount & blade and the expansions over the weekend. What I've had happen is that it does not download at all. It stays stuck at 0mbs and 0% for days. I had to reinstall steam to update my other games because I can't change the que slot once warband starts to download. I've filed a support ticket with steam and still no reply at all. I tried renaming the client registry, moving the download file, deleting the download file & even downloading the game from the mount & blade website (had a network error over night or something) Its pretty frustrating paying for games and not being able to play them. So far this makes 3 games that I am unable to play for some bug or another. Has anyone been able to solve this kind of issue?

I'm having the exact same issues. I made a ticket last Saturday and still have not received any help.


I've tried a wealth of fixes I have seen in other forum post, but no luck. All of my other games work and download just fine, except Warband.

The lack of steam support is incredibly discouraging.

Yeah I know the feeling there! Although I can understand the delay because they must get thousands of these messages all the time. Hopefully they do an update and fix this issue soon. I couldn't get Batman Arkham Origins to work either, it kept on crashing at the main screen. I tried out mount & blade and it looks like a sweet game, I've got a bunch of friends that play warband a lot so I'd definately like to get in with them on some multiplayer goodness!

I also have the exact same problem and now I can't update or download any other games because Warband is stuck. Its a wicked game if you ever get it working Captain.

Yeah it seems like it is going to be a great game. I got a reply from steam and tried everything they suggested to no avail. Sometimes I think that going back to the old days of buying physical copies is the way to go. Sadly you can't even get most games in physical copies anymore.

i got all of the Dlc's for mount and blade warband but viking conquest won t show up on my game list ? and it says that i got it can t downloa it ?? please help

Sad to say but to fix my issue I had to do a full wipe of steam off my pc and reinstall it. I think I had to do that twice or something but it eventually got everything fixed up. JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR GAMES STORED OUTSIDE OF YOUR STEAM FOLDER IN ANOTHER FOLDER!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure you read the all caps part. It will save you a lot of headache :D

ich habe das gleiche Problem. Wann kann der DLC runtergeladen werden? Es steht Dezember 2014 in der Beschreibung. So es ist Dezember 2014, warum kann ich es nicht runterladen???!
