Achievement progress bug [Solved]

I don't know if this is the right place (please, tell me where to put this )

Some time ago I noticed that my progressbar with achievement where you have to get/kill/do something x times, doesn't update. It did once, but suddenly, it stopped working.
I can still get other kind of achievements.

It's not the connection, and some of my other friends don't have these problems - with the same achievements.

Anybody else having the same problem? And do somebody know how to fix it?

each game will autoupdate the achievement in real time and after you close the game.

however, i think the achievement list in steam game client for the game 'left 4 dead' is incorrect.
if i launch 'left 4 dead' and click achievements, i can see my 'real' achievement bar.

The problem is, it doesn't update.. at all. Not real time, not after. Never.

what game is it?

if steam is in offline mode, achievements will not be counted.

try manually exiting steam game client then launch it after a few seconds.

It's not in offline mode :)

Now it's OMD2, which actually don't have a progress bar for the "All aboard" achievement - But I need 1000 mine kart kills (Which I have).

But earlier I had a problem with etc. Bejeweled 3 and TF2

Seems like I found the error. I validated cache files, and there was problems with a file. Now it works, and i got the achievement now! :)
