Cant add phone to secure account. Help?

You downloaded the steam app on the phone and clicked add authenticator right?

If i remember correctly when i added my authenticator i needed to enter a code from either my email or it was sent to the phone number i entered i cant exactly remember

got app on phone and steam on pc, it wont send the confirmation in time.

Add Authenicator

Step 1 add phone to your account

Step 2 Confirm your email. AN email that doesnt come for 30 minutes and has already expired by then.

I can't login to steam and I can't ask for support, because steam is not sending any verification mail or verification code. For support they also ask for a verification code.

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT is the problem, they wont send it in a timely manner, it expires when its sent, and no, its not going to any spam filters

uhh that is very weird, normally you would recive the email in few min(max) after sending the request

yeah I have to enter via web confirmation anytime I log in off the laptop thats outside my IP, which comes instantly, but the steam guard doesnt seem to work

Here the steps.
1. Download app on your phone.
2. Login on the app on your phone.
3. Go into Steam guard on the app.
4. Get SMS text code, to activate the change, once done, you will be give a R code which you need to write down if you ever want to remove it, or need to reset up app.
5. Enjoy.

Now if you're blocking Steam phone then unblock it, or using a online phone service, then you're doing it wrong, as you need a normal CELL service, not VOIP google hang out phone number, or sms text online services.

I know how it works, but its just not working. I got the app on my phone. I am using a cellphone, not a voip, not some app, but a cellphone,and I get a monthly bill for that phone.

have you tried to end steam fully by clicking the arrow pointing upwarts in the bottom right --> right click steam icon --> end steam
