How do I make a program run in the background on startup?
I have Soundpad right, and I would like it to behave in a similar way to wallpaper engine, meaning it starts on startup, but as a background talk. I was wondering if this is possible with steam or does the developer have to code it into the software?

Is there is an option to run with windows or when windows starts? Check the Gear.
With this program you may have to start it though because of the Windows Audio DRM may load first automatically when you boot. Check the windows services running at boot.
Important notice:
Soundpad installs an audio driver extension, which requires a system restart when you run Soundpad for the first time.
Furthermore, Soundpad requires deactivated Windows Audio DRM validation in order to work. If you want to watch a DRM protected DVD and run Soundpad at the same time, one of both will not work. You can toggle DRM validation in the options, when you are about to watch or listen to DRM protected media.
