Games Locked at 30 fps/ Win 10 locked at 30 hz /horrible screen tearing FIX

The issue is that I cant' set my resolution to 1080p/60HZ only 30 hz and games are stuck on 30fps and with horrible screen tearing. I deleted GeForce Experience and my current Graphics Driver. I then went onto Nviidia's website and rolled back to the last working driver from March 2020. You will have to go to advanced display settings/ monitor in Win 10 to change to 60hz, since it defaults to 30hz. I'll just have to manually update my graphics driver from now on and roll back if I have issues. Hope this helps anyone with similar issues. Also, WIn 10 was completely up to date.

Specs- 4k Westinghouse TV, i5 3570k OC to 4.5 ghz, 16gb DDR3 ram, and a Zotac GTX 770 4gb.

Setting the colour format to RGB in NCP usually fixes it for one of my TVs that keeps getting locked to 30htz on non-native resolutions.

All my games were getting locked at 30fps. I believe I tried to change to RGB in NCP/Change Resolution. I'll have to double check that next time if the problem crops up again. You are right it's non-native. So, when I set to 3840x2160 60 hz it still locked games at 30fps. I like the 1080p 60hz better for the way it looks and performs.

just try changing your resolution from the nvidia control panel because that helped me so it might help you too

NCP only let me choose 1080p at 30hz or lower, same as Windows 10 display settings. Every things was fine till I updated to the newest graphics driver, then stuff disappeared.
