Stop receiving family sharing from ex
Hello,

My ex-boyfriend set up family sharing on my computer back when we were still together. I revoked access to him for my games, but cannot see a way to end his sharing with me. I have blocked him as well, but that still didn't work.

While I uninstalled all of the games I borrowed from him, it makes me uncomfortable seeing his name splashed across my account, but I cannot find a way to end his sharing with me without contacting him and asking him to do it from his end, which is not safe for me to do.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?
Thank you.

Log out of Steam, go to steam/config installation folder, (make a back up first) delete config.vdf , then restart Steam.

That should removed sharing connections.

Hi Hotsauce,

Thanks for your quick response :)
I tried your suggestion and it did reset the sharing connections in my desktop client, but what I am looking for is to remove it from my account altogether - when I go to 'Manage family sharing' on web, he's still in the list of people sharing their libraries with me.

Revoke access on that page.

But it will still be listed as an account that was connected to yours at some point, forever.

Well that's kind of awful. Thanks for your help.
