Does Gifts from friends for games / steam wallet codes count?

i am confused to know how can i remove my restriction from limited account so does Games Gifted by friends work for to remove limited acocunt i got garrys mod for free as a gift i am still a limted account does it have to be a game or wallet funds code

Physical gift cards count but digital gift cards don't. Friends gifting games also don't count.

Anything that does not use your own money will not count.
So, gifted games or gifted wallet credit will not count.

You must have one or more transactions on Steam with a total of at least 5 US Dollars or your regional equivalent to get an unlimited account.
Charging your wallet with a physical wallet card or an external payment method will count as well.

Physically gifted gift cards do count though. As in offline store bought wallet code cards. That was how I originally unlocked mine.

can I atleast have my friend that want to help me add fund to my account acces it i trust him he is my friend for 5 years

BTW if someone gifted me some money if i buy something with that money does it count?

Of course not.
It must be your own money.

You are not allowed to give your friend access to your account.
That is a severe violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement and can get not only yours, but all accounts of your friend as well either permanently suspended or terminated.
