issue with my monitor(Blur, Aliasing, Graininess)
I'm having an issue with my monitor where, after a month of use, objects started to blur, the further away they are, the worse it gets. There's also an aliasing effect even with anti-aliasing on in games, something akin to graininess. It's as if my 2K monitor has switched to a non-native resolution, or it feels like there are fewer pixels on the screen.

I've suspected the video card, the power supply unit, and just about anything else, but then I remembered experiencing the same issue with my old laptop a month after I bought it. My workstation hasn't changed, and it's the same power outlet I've been using for years. My colleague in the next room isn't experiencing any issues, and there are no such problems with another monitor. Honestly, I'm at a loss about what it could be. Has anyone encountered this or knows how to fix it?

Have you tried a different monitor? Like your colleagues unaffected monitor?

If the other screen doesn't display the the same things, you can probably attribute it directly to the affected screen rather than random hardware. If the problem exists on both monitors, are you sure you're running at the native resolution after all? Are you sure all the affected games are running at native resolution?

What games are we talking about? And the problem affects all games equally? Regardless of resolution and graphics settings? That might occur if the issue was the monitor itself. Which is why I'd be tempted to try another screen.

I had two completely different monitors. One was in a laptop (1080p) and the other with a desktop computer (1440p). The result was the same, but on the 1080p monitor, the blurriness and pixels were much more noticeable. Problems occurred in both cases after about a month.

Yes, I am sure that the native resolution is being used everywhere. This problem occurs both in games and on the desktop. I'm afraid to try my colleague's monitor because if I use it for a long time, the same might happen to it. Sometimes I think that the issue might be with the electricity in my room specifically, could that be the case?
When you use one of your monitors on another system, are the monitors blurry?

I mean it's not very likely the system is killing monitors, so the question still remains is it the monitor(s) or the system. Even if the system was damaging monitors, it's not as if those monitors would in turn also damage other systems.

Well, on my laptop and desktop, I had two completely different systems, and the result was the same. Do you mean that I should give my monitor to someone else to try it out and then see if the same thing happens?

Also i can connect my monitor to an old laptop and see what happens.
Check Brand Monitor support page, we are not kidding you here.

Most just use windows default drivers, ( but many forget MS do not make other Brand Drivers they are given it to them by brand support. )

same goes with your GPU driver make fresh install.

Nvidia use custom install mode
AMD use DDU.

and before you dig into Monitor Book page or online PDF for reset to option, each monitor is not so simple anymore , they also have internal software and update they do that at service center.

most dont know this, but try see them as smart Monitors today, and that mean things out of your hands. only they can check or upgrade.

ps.
and stop gussing on whats cause this. ( what if this is a monitor.ini file you need to load , just like many other do, then Brand support fix bugs.)

gl with it.

Thank you but I had the same problem with 2 different monitors, it’s not software or driver I think
We can only tell you check Brand Monitor support page, if they have made such, or just use windows signed driver.

Here are screenshots if you're interested. All game settings are cranked up to ultra. It's especially noticeable with the doors in Prey, they appear uneven, and there's a noticeable stair-stepping effect. I experience the same thing on my desktop and on the internet
Sometimes, like my monitor here, but only sometimes when a monitor has a driver, they release an official signed and an official unsigned driver.

Now these may or may not work and so to use the Windows PNP driver is proper.

Sometimes, you will need to adjust the monitor in Display Settings < Windows HD Color settings.

Sometimes you will need to tweak the Nvidia driver and I heard about some solution with HDR monitors but have not installed the information into my brain yet.
Here are some more screenshots of how video previews on YouTube appear for me; for some reason, they are very pixelated, this hasn't happened before.

If using HDMI, these are cables prone to fast degradation while using 2k and 4k.

And do not get me started on Organic LED (OLED)...

I use DP for my monitor) and have an IPS matrix
Role back to previous GPU driver as test, if you think it was not there in the past.

You can also ask GPU card support what is wrong, i only know fresh driver install as last option.

That is a good tip because these new Nvidia drivers are hot garbage for some users.

Maybe they didn't re-path their shaders as it changed locations while bringing the shaders over, but idk as I clean installed my GPU.

I found the old DXCache folder but it was empty.
