Seriously? They've had this problem for multiple MONTHS and haven't fixed it?

And I'd have to be awake at 8am to post my videos? That is just ridiculous.

You know what frustates me the most these days, having to complain or even nag to get something fixed that should just work to begin with, not just updating videos on steam community but a lot of things these days are broken, even things you paid for which makes it even worse, its the most frustating thing ever complaining and then being ignored, but even worse its not just me being ignored, everyone else is also being ignored, i should not need to complain to get something fixed, because others will do it likely before i complain about it.

So how about an update about situation ?

If you actually care about getting your videos linked, you can use the workaround as documented earlier in the thread, about making sure you're doing it at midnight Seattle time. Otherwise, you are welcome to open a case with steam support, which probably will result in nothing, but maybe we'll make you feel better.

Congratulations on the 1000th post in the thread.

Let us continue with lively discussion until Valve fixes this issue. I will post some AI slop, since it is the best we're gonna get until then.
The Midnight Upload In the quaint digital town of Streamville, where the rivers of content flowed ceaselessly, there lived a dedicated uploader named Alex. Alex had a legendary collection of 2522 videos, each a mosaic piece in the grand tapestry of gaming glory. But for 49 days, a mysterious fog had descended upon Streamville, a fog so thick that no video could pierce through to the Steam Community. Every night, as the clock struck twelve in Seattle, Alex would don their virtual gear, a ritualistic armor made of hope and caffeine, and embark on the arduous journey to the Upload Portal. The townsfolk whispered of a narrow window, a fleeting moment after midnight when the fog lifted ever so slightly, allowing for a single video to slip through. Alex tried everything. They consulted the wise old forum sages, deciphered cryptic error messages, and even attempted to appease the Server Gods with offerings of unused DLC codes. But the fog was unyielding, and the Upload Portal remained an impenetrable fortress. One fateful night, armed with the latest workaround scrolls, Alex waited for the stroke of midnight. The seconds ticked away, and as the digital clock displayed 00:00, they initiated the upload sequence. The progress bar crept forward, a torturous crawl towards completion. But as the bar approached its end, the fog rolled back in, thicker than ever, and the upload failed. The frustration was palpable, a digital scream into the void of cyberspace. Alex’s collection remained at 2522, a number that now haunted their dreams. They couldn’t help but wonder if the fog was a test from the Server Gods, a challenge to their resolve, or perhaps a sign to seek adventures beyond the borders of Streamville. But Alex was not one to give up. They knew that every night brought a new opportunity, and with each attempt, they grew wiser, their strategy more refined. The town of Streamville may have been shrouded in frustration, but hope was a flame that the fog could not smother. And so, Alex waits, for the moment when the fog lifts and the Upload Portal opens once more, ready to add video 2523 to their illustrious collection.

The time they spent waiting on Google is the time they could've spent getting integration for Rumble, Bitchute, Vimeo, and other platforms working with Steam.

The legalese and set up would be far less easy than just waiting on Google to finish their backend work.

It'd still be worth it to have backup video providers for Steam when something like this happens again with Youtube. People will claim low usage with non-Youtube platforms but if a situation like this happens again, i think people would rather use a backup if the option was there than just wait for Youtube to work again.
