Unable to Link Youtube Account

Whenever I attempt to link my youtube account, I will get the following error "This page isn’t working steamcommunity.com is currently unable to handle this request. HTTP ERROR 500"

They also close all relevant support tickets after posting their cookie-cutter response. I can see why people are speculating the removal of the video linking feature

I sent the link to this forum to Steam devs and some information that some of the players may have found the issue. I asked if their investigation could now be turned into a fix. Here is the reply I received today:
