About Running Elden Ring

I am upgrading my computer so I can run Elden Ring. I am getting a better graphics card which I already know will be more than good enough. But the processor I have is:

Intel Core i7-7700K 4.2 GHz

The specs say I need a minimum of Intel Core i5-8,400K and recommends I use Intel Core i7-8,700K. The only difference for me is the K is lower, but I don't know if that matters or not. It seems to be in between the minimum and the recommended. My question is, does it really matter, or is the i7 more important than the K number? I don't know what it means.

K - means you can overclock the cpu.

K means overclockable CPU, I have an I7 6700K overclocked to 4.8 and perfectly capable of running Elden ring or heavier games, like Lords of The Fallen for example. You won't have any problems but it mostly depends on your graphics card.
