Icons from desktop shortcuts gone

How can I restore this? All of my steam games are now the empty white paper on my desktop. I've tried to verify integrity of game, and I've tried to delete the icon and reput it back. But nothing is working.

If you can, you just have to go to your library, then right click on the game you want to get direct access to, click manage and then add shortcut to the desktop, then go to the desktop and click update and that's it.
