How do I fix CPU Bottleneck?

Hello,
I bought the witcher 3: wild hunt (base game) after checking if my PC meets the minimum and recommended requirements. However, when I started playing, I noticed my FPS constantly drops and I have lag spikes. I installed MSI Afterburner, and I noticed that I have a CPU Bottleneck. My GPU's usage is 100%, but my CPU's usage is between 20-30%. How do I fix this? And should I overclock or undervolt my CPU or GPU?

PC specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-10510U @ 1.80 GHz
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q Design, 4 GB
Memory: 16 GB Ram
HP P24h G5 monitor: 1920 x 1080 resolution, 60 Hz
System: Windows 10

Thats not a CPU bottleneck, thats a GPU bottleneck.
If one of the two is at 100% while the other is at a low value then the one at 100% is the one that is the bottleneck.
A 1050 is a fairly weak card and Witcher 3 has become a lot more demanding since the free next-gen update about 1-2 years ago that added a lot of advanced graphic effects.
Not much you can do except lowering the graphic settings or getting a new GPU.
The 1050 is by now 4 generations behind.

Ohhh, gotcha gotcha. My bad. I lowered all the graphics settings, turned vsync off, have the maximum frame rate at 30, and set the resolution to 1024 x 720. I might just uninstall the game in this case

"Old gen" version is still available for the game, which should run better. Go to game properties>betas tab > Beta participation > "classic - Select this branch to play the classic release of The Witcher 3 (Patch 1.32)"
