linking youtube to steam {SOLVED}

so i followed the steps to try to link my youtube to steam. it tells me the browser im using isnt secure. so i copied the url and put it into my chrome browser, it let me sign in, it took me to the connect account, i connected it, then it bugs out and the page goes black and says "this page isnt working". why cant i add my youtube to steam?????

this does not make a difference in any way, regardless the service is broken due to a google API update that steam decided not to fix

i got it fixed last month, literally just kept spamming the page refresh and unlinked and tried relinking and it sorted itself out and worked

As I've said in multiple threads, the situation with YouTube linking on Steam is the result of supporting only one platform and absolutely nothing else.

thats the same exact error i was getting. i just kept unlinking and re linking my yt to steam and restarted my steam a few times and it worked after a while

did you do it in the browser or steam?

The current trick right now is to use a real browser AND try it at exactly 12AM Pacific Time. Any other time will result in an HTTP 500 ERROR or a blank page.

The problem persists. Neither unlinking, linking, changing browsers, closing and opening the browser, clearing cookies, 200 times didn't work here .

the 3am thing is the only thing that works, find out what time for you is equivalent to 3am est and you have to link it and upload the videos there, you have about 5 minutes to do it so make sure you have the videos already uploaded to youtube and everything else prior

Create a thread on the Suggestions board about supporting platforms like Peertube, Rumble, Vimeo, Dailymotion, and Bitchute
