Asia keys do not work for Israel

Israel is a part of Asia and Asia keys do not work for Israel.
I went to g2a and bought a key It said the key can only be activated in Asia
So I went to confirmed that Israel is in Asia in Google
And then I bought it for $30 Then I went to activate it and it said it doesn't work in my region
I'm very confused by this can somebody explain

It's not really an opinion, more to do with continental vs geopolitical definitions of areas. Israel is in West Asia, but is in the area (geopolitically) referred to as the Middle East.

And as pointed out Steam has a Middle East region, so that's where the OP needs to get keys for.

It's not about geographical areas, it's about economic areas and Israel isn't a part of the Asian economic region. Nor of the Asian cultural region, for that matter. Stop being pedantic and accept regions for what they are. That's coming from a German, we invented principle-drive pedantry.

Besides you buying keys from a shady site, just because it says "Asia key" doesn't always mean the entirety of Asia. Like, what does Rest Of The World (ROW) mean without a reference?

A developer/publisher may split distribution of their game however they see fit and call it by whatever makes sense to them. Asia typically refers to the South East region and maybe may not include specific countries in that region.

It's not always as cut and dry as you think it is.

There is no such price region as "Asia" on Steam. There is South Asia region and MENA (Middle Ease and North Africa) regions but Israel isn't part of either as Israel is it's own price region where items are priced in Israels own currency, New Shekel.

Do not bypass Steam's filters as doing so may result in a community ban. That site is intentionally censored as it's involved in lot of scams and is not official key reseller.
