trading cards not dropping for games?

i've had this problem recently with both [Cobalt Core] and [Void Stranger] from my steam library


Cobalt core was a new indie game where they didn't have steam trading cards at launch. So after the cards came in, I had 0 drops remaining and >40 hours played.
I thought this could be a bug caused by delays in approval of steam trading cards, So I waited and kept playing occasionally... After several more weeks I was eventually awarded trading cards.

Thinking that it was just a blip, I participated in the fake economy, bought some cards and crafted badges to support the devs on that game.


Now the very next full game i've played, Void Stranger, is still showing 4 card drops remaining after 50+ hours of playtime
(this game is 6+ months old, so it already had cards+approval before the time i played it)


I've played games right at launch in previous years, and got trading cards awarded at various times based on when the devs had TCs approved / how soon after launch I bought games.


I always bought at least a few small indie games per year, by adding money to wallet. I very rarely sell steam inventory and buy games from "item/card market credit". But I do also get gifted a few games a year, "products I paid 0$ for". I know your account can be in a bad status if you've never actually "paid" for a game, but this is a 18+ year account with plenty of purchases?


I tried clicking every button in steam support to submit a ticket about CARDS but the only category which offers support (that I can find) is about ITEMS in 4 specific Valve published games. Otherwise I got directed here.


I can think of no way for any random community member in this forum to help me, is there an actual e-mail address / web url I can submit a real steam support ticket to?

Do you have the game set to private? It does not show up in your games owned. Private games will not drop cards.
