Games Will not launch

I have been having this issue for the past few days now and i have tried a multitude of ways to try and get these games to work.
The games being:
Space engineers
The Finals
Helldivers 2

When i press Play in the Library it goes to start (getting to the point where it says stop) before completely stopping without the game even having an icon on the list of apps.

Originally it was just Space Engineers but something must have happened to cause the games to stop working.

I know it is not because of my hardware as they are up to the needs of the games, but if need be i will supply it if it can help fix my issue.

i have checked my event viewer for information and i can give it if needed, i just need help finding out whats wrong with my games/computer

First things first, do this:

Open the Steamclient, click Help in the top menu bar, then System Information. Copy all text and post it here.

You could try updating your videodriver, which is two years old already.

This is the latest version for your videocard and operating system. Less than two weeks old.
