I'm having trouble adding games to my cart

When I'm on the store page and click Add to Cart, the page simply refreshes; nothing gets added to my cart. However, when I'm on this page:

https://store.steampowered.com/publisher/EA/sale/Classic-Games-Sale

and click Add to Cart, the game in question does get added to my cart.

What's going on?

Is there a way around this problem, or am I stuck not being able to buy most games?

It has nothing to do with the beta client. The new Shopping Cart overhaul was released to everyone, which means both the client and browsers without fixing all the bugs for it.

i also can't add games to cart on my browser. i need to add it on my app.
and that is very annoying. because i need to look for the game again.
