Have fun.

First of all, what you do or do not want to buy is up to you, and you alone. The Sweet Baby Inc curator is just a curator to tell you that Sweet Baby Inc was involved with a game.
We can't generally know how much they were involved (prime example: they list Valve in their list of clients, and since Valve doesn't even make games there's absolutely no information what this was about), so its even possible that a game still has decent writing even if Sweet Baby was involved.
As an example, looking at the Sweet Baby curator, I found that "Sable" is on my shopping list. I don't currently know whether or not Sweet Baby has any significance there -- after all, at some point in the past, I decided that I wanted the game. When a good deal shows up I'll go back to reviews anyway, so I'm leaving it as is for now.
As you said, it'll be up to reviews, marketing, and my own decision, as it should be with OP.
Unless you are aiming to actively protest and boycott anything relating to SBI, make your own decision on purchases.
Woken garbage spewing from the tongues of babes...
anyways thanks for the advice everyone... i guess.
but still no one answered. WHAT is sweet baby inc? it is the main reason that everyone fighting over it.
like i'm confused and someone needs to clarify it to me.
i can't take a side of the problem without knowing the problem itself. i can't just take a side randomly.
Better to just search it and read.
Also any one thread is sure to contain much bias on either side, so make sure you read several to get a good idea of what it's all about from multiple viewpoints.
Good luck.
You don't have to take a side, you know.
fair enough.
also i'm sorry if i were reckless and idiot. i just read that something will be closed and i thought that was not there answer and closed the tab. thanks tho
Nope. Buy whatever game you want to play. Don't let the opinions of anyone to keep you from enjoying the things you want.
huh? interesting.
i mean the steam group itself isn't that harmful. well kinda for the games that it is on steam.
but whatever.
and thanks for that. alot of people look frown upon other who defends SBI. even tho i only support the devs. not the publisher or the consultants.
Yes, but I still like having the curator.
I rather disliked that one scene in Eternals where they decided that one of them has to be visibly gay. I also liked Jack Harkness, until they decided that it's important to show that he's gay (also, the show itself went downhill thematically, IMHO)..
So, if possible, I'd like to avoid such issues on my games. And while reviews in general are likely to point out such things -- as example, I didn't have "Forspoken" on my shopping list long before the "wokeness consultants" became a public thing, simply because reviews were kind of not particularly positive about the writing.
I'd actually like the Sweet Baby curator to be removed... and replaced with one that's not focused on a specific company, but generally points out games that have had wokeness consultants help out with their stuff. Althouh, arguably, that might put "wokeness" labels on games that shouldn't have them -- like, simply because they have a female protagonist. I like girls as much as the next guy -- they just shouldn't like "Black Girl Gamers" write anyone, at least not until they've hired some competent writers.
