Steam account - change email adr. in steam client.
rest is Rockstar issue at rockstar support site.
It's not my steam account email that is the problem, it is the rockstar account that is connected to my steam account.....
ok then its rockstar support for reset that link to steam.
The only option is to refund RDR2 on your current Steam account if possible.
Secondly as Rockstar cannot help you, your options are, IF you get the refund:
1) Create a NEW Steam account and a NEW Rockster account, link them together with a NEW email account, and buy RDR2 on Steam.
Or:
2) Create a NEW Rockstar account, create a NEW email account, and buy RDR2 on the Rockstar Launcher store.
we do understand what NX machine said , only work then its newly required game.
maybe we should start use bind to account again here, so pll stop even think you can merge or move content. ( just like good old box games did it. )
steam bought title is bind at steam.
rockstart title none steam game follower rockstart link to whatever steam account afaik.
I was hoping for some help from STEAM as rockstart have been totally useless.
As I said in my OP, rockstar refused to help as I couldn't access my old email account.....
This is not a steam issue they can do anything about.
Nothing is connected to your Steam account, Valve do not offer that functionality, any account linking, EA, Rockstar, Epic, Activision is done on their side not Steam's.

Then change it.
Steam Support cannot help you because all linking, unlinking is done on Rockstar's end.
Linking

Unlinking

And finally found this on another thread:
I can only login there with the new email I submitted when I installed RDR2, that is when I got the message that the email account didn't match the previous one I had used.
