How to refund paysafe purchase

€5 was taken from my 10€ paysafecard even though the purchase failed.
Please help me if you know something about this.

when a purchase fails, no money leaves the account. the bank puts a HOLD on the funds, after a few days the money gets released. if the funds are still held after a week, contact the bank/payment provider

again, what you see is a HOLD put on the funds. the hold lasts until the merchant (steam) and the payment provider (paysafe) get their information in order and make sure everything matches up. if things dont match up (failed purchase) the funds keep being held for a few days. the hold is done by the payment provider, not steam. this is standard practice for online payments (credit cards, debit cards, paypal, etc)

they should appear back on your paysafe account in a few days.

you take it up with paysafe. when the purchase fails, steam does not get the money.
