Steam Says I have LESS Games than I know I OWN

So, this is a confusing conundrum… but my profile and such both say I only have 31 games even though I’ve counted out 36 games in total in my library. Not to mention it also says I have 36 in a different area of steam… so… what is going on with this?

There are many games that don't count towards the badge regardless if you "paid" for them or not. The list is updated with new information regarding games removed by Valve and games that pass the confidence metrics, + or - respectively.

1. Nearly all Free2Play games don't count. Unless you paid to make it a premium license. This is different than the free for a limited time games.

3. There are also games that are in the "Learning" phase...

The number on your profile only includes games that are counted towards your game collector badge. The number that appears when you view your games list includes more, such as free-to-play games.
