My primary account got suspended.
I received a red rectangular warning in the steam app about my account being held for suspicious activity right after sent some text and ASCII arts to my friends, my account got suspended afterwards.

The comments I made were all about jokes and funny images but no malicious link or other illegal activity whatsoever.

Worried as I were, I rapidly sent a ticket to steam support to see if they can solve my situation, I really don't want to get VAC banned or something.

Next time I'll be very careful with the things I send.

How long does it take to everything get back to normal? Any thoughts?

VAC bans are only for cheating, not trolling in Discussions or in profile comments.
Your account is suspended, which is even worse than a VAC ban and depending on your actions it can either be reversed with a stern warning not to "f around and find out" anymore or be upheld so that you are not a danger to the community anymore.
"Right after", Steam does not act THAT fast.

My guy I swear it happened swiftly. I suppose it is automated.
No, that means "it was for something else", my guy
Anyway, only Steam Support can help with your suspended account.
You will have to wait for their reply.

I really hope that they see to it. I sent silly jokes to my friends and then sh*t happened.

All I know for now is that I am unable to invite my friends to my sessions and unable to do pretty much anything.
I will update this topic later.

Thanks for your responses.

That is caused by the account suspension. It locks the account down to protect the account and the users from more exposure to whatever happened.

I doubt that was the cause as Steam isn't known for being quick. Fact it happened around that time is likely just a coincidence.

The warning should give you some sort of details. If it doesn't contact support and wait for them to explain
Guys, problem solved!

The main problem was one troll comment I sent to a friend of mine that contained a fake adress and phone number lol.

I'm so relieved phew. :griefer:
