Some other guy recently asked about transferring a save from his XBox to the Steam version of the same game; while he had already obtained the file, it didn't work. So that's another potential problem with your plan.
Since we're talking a specific game, I'd argue it's a very goooglable question. But asking on the Persona 5 forum would also be better options than rando Steam general forum.
The saves have to be converted to the appropriate coding.
Otherwise the answer is no you cannot just move your save data over.
I'm not transferring from a console to a computer its from the xbox marketplace on pc the question would be no different if I was asking to be able to transfer data from the epic market place to steam
Depends on the game, Grandia 2, you can literally import your PS2 saves to the PC version.
If we're talking purely PC game saves across different launchers, you're going to be able to transfer saves a much greater percentage of the time. But sometimes there may be differences that prevent it. Just like some mods only work on platform specific versions. A game may be running at a different version or have different content and if those differences end up in the save file that may break compatibility.
So the original answer, "depends on the game" still holds true. Although personally I'm a little more confident about compatibility.
