What is wrong with my steam link?

I'm trying to play vr games on steam with steam link on my oculus quest 2 which was going fine but suddenly it started to say i needed hevc hardware encoding and anytime a game was loading (help wanted 2 and in to the radius specifically) steam link disconnected and said another headset was connected or that steam link crashed and i don't know what to do.
