Cant post comments on profiles

i just made this account about a week or 2 ago and i can do quite literally everything else, so im not sure if its a limited account or what, but where the "add a comment" box should be is absolutely nothing, just nothing. i tried to go on steam anonymously but even there it doesnt show up. and i dont think it has anything to do with the specific user's settings, becuase ive gone to at least 50 different random accounts seeing if it appears and nothing. it only appears if im friends with the person.

My comments should be public. Feel free to test it with mine. As far as I know, currently comment privacy is set to friends only by default, so it's not unlikely that you can easily find a lot of accounts with friends only comments.

The OP's account is not limited, because limited accounts cannot gain levels and their profile name would have appeared as numbers on the forum.

yea the comment box just isnt there, only for people im friends with and well my own profile, but not on yours for me

yea its not a limited account, besides ive looked over that page at least 10 times already.
and the "add a comment" box just isnt there, like its not like im typing a message and it wont go through, it wont let me type to begin with. i think its a bug but to be sure i posted here. and no it wasnt on your profile either. ive looked at over 50 profiles and all of them except for my friend's profiles dont have that box so

Well as I said, your account is definitely not limited for the reasons I mentioned. And just to be sure, I checked by adding ?xml=1 to the end of your profile address, and your account does not show as limited on there.

Maybe you should try in the browser and see if that works. If it does, maybe there's something wrong with your client. If it still doesn't work, someone else might know more, or you might have to contact Steam support.

Just wondering if Valve added other cooldowns when changing profile names, like they did with trading very recently.

I know you changed it on the 2nd but I wouldn't think the cooldown would be that long.

And I really don't want to test it with my alts.
