A quick Google search shows that the 'irm' command is used to download a script from an online source. What exactly it downloaded, no idea, but it is suspicious as I don't think you would need to do that to redeem a proper Steam key. You just run the Steam client and enter it in there.

Better scan your computer for malware.
Should you be concerned? Yes.
It could have been anything.

It is the equivalent of someone asking you to visit that page and load something, and then run it.

If you let someone do that on your computer, they could also do something else as well.

Third, this "activating of a game" looks strange too.
Remove that link.

Potentially harmful.. Remove it...

cdk looks like cdkeys to me but the first command irm tells me you should be running a full system scan for malware

irm is Invoke-RestMethod and will download a script from the address you linked.....remove the link. Without knowing the details we have no idea what your friend downloaded and likely ran on your system. They could have gave themselves or anyone else complete access to your system

You can additionally scan for malware using Malwarebytes. Just to be sure :hp_kyu:.

https://www.malwarebytes.com/

Don't let other people use your computer.

i'm running full scan with win defender rn, i'll try malwarebytes as well
If i am right and someone remote connected to your pc
and
used the terminal
and
loaded and ran something,

personally i would go the whole way to ensure the integrity of my computer. This might look as too much,
but preventing this necessarity is exactly why you do not let things like this happen.
And now it happened.
The thing with scanning,
changing settings that are in windows is not detectable as a "virus".

If what was loaded has not been detected as a virus when it ran, it could still have changed settings. So the scan might come up fine, but the problem is still "set".

No one can say for certain what happened.

Just wipe your PC and be in clear. Make limited access user account
