Subscriptions
I keep getting an alert that my subscription failed to process, yet I have nearly double the amount of required money in my Steam Wallet ... how do I get this to process?

You do not have an external payment method?

I don't want to use an external payment method, that's why I loaded my steam wallet to cover it.. it allowed me to combine the remainders of several different gift cards to pay for a larger purchase.

Only other way that may or may not work is to remove your external payment method from Steam completely to try to force the use of wallet funds.

Again, it doesn't always work going by previous threads.

I just cleared the external payment option.. still have the alert. There doesn't seem to be a way to clear the account alert or have it process. I can see the subscription but my only option on that screen is to cancel the subscription.

Ok, to close this out. I think I just found my answer. If you log into Mog Station (Final Fantasy XIV is my subscription), you can select Steam as your payment. Once you click that, you get two buttons, one for Auto Renewal and the other for Steam Wallet (one time payment). I think this is how you use the Steam Wallet.

The latter requires manual recurring payments though, which means you have to renew it on your own.
