Confidence scams are everywhere. Learn how to identify them before you become a victim of one.
the scammer gave me pictures and a video of my account saying that he reimbursed me money and that it is still banned globally, he gave me a video and realistic pictures so that I would believe him. it's my fault that I paid 100 euros on a gift card. I found out that the guy is not from Steam Support, he is a scammer.
It begins to look like someone is telling you a story, with images for easy "immersion".
Pattern of scam:
Bait, story, steps
I really don't understand how people keep falling for this.
I found out that this is the scammer. Sierra Oscar, a moderator retired from the community, and the stories he told me were fake, that's why I believed him. I didn't know a moderator could do something like that. anyway, I don't think I can recover any more money. but I hope not to fall into the trap of making transactions the picture after his profile was the picture after Discord. I didn't know what was happening, I thought someone gave me erroneous reports and gave me a fake API link, after that he told me the story that the account was closed and after ask for the money.
I just had a scammed like this and that guy sent me a discord name who are steam community service. And that guy sent me some certificated
Only scammers send "certificates" alongside a story.

thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone, it won't happen again. I didn't know what a scam was until someone gave me fake reports. and gave me the API to verify my account. he saw that I didn't know about this scam to delete my report because in 12 hours I will receive a global penny, I heard. there will be scams that use different methods that some know about and some don't. he told me that he blocked my account until he verified 2 payments, one for 100 Euros and another for 170 Euros. but I think I fell into the trap because I didn't know about this scam anyway. it's good and I don't feel like I lost 100 Euros, I should order another card because I said this on Revolut and it blocked my physical card. said to order another card because of a scammer. anyway, I think that others lost more than me. I'm talking about sums of money, not 100 Euros.
