Error Code 0xc0000005 with Batman Arkham Knight

Whenever I've tried to open the game it ends up booting up the wallpaper then my mouse goes to the top left corner and the wallpaper crashes. Using the Event Viewer I've been able to find out that it is a 0xc0000005 error code. I've tried using the Windows Memory Diagnostic and made sure that my graphics drivers are up to date, the game files verified, deleted the game multiple times and deleted steam, and made the game an exception from the windows anti virus. The only problem I can see at this rate could just be my laptop so I'm including it in this.

specs:

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8650U CPU @ 1.90GHz 2.11GHz

Installed RAM: 16.0 GB (15.6 GB usable)

Laptop device: HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5

Intel UHD graphics 620 is not going to cut it for that game.
