Can I still access my owned game in my country if the game somehow becomes restricted in my country later in the future?
I know you can't buy a game in a country, and play that game in another country where that game is restricted, but this is a different case.

Apparently the government in my country, Indonesia, is planning to ban games in the country if their publishers don't open an office here in Indonesia. If I buy a game right now here in Indonesia, and in the future, the game is restricted from the country, can I still access it in my country where I bought it?

Depends on how the game will enforce these restrictions.

Steam will not remove owned games, but:
* Some games can have a regional restriction for activation (BuyRestrict) - you keep the game, can install and play it, but can't obtain it anymore
* Some games can have a regional restriction for starting (RunRestrict) - you keep the game, but cannot install or start it anymore.

Depending on any third-party DRM, while not explicitly flagged, a game may restrict it's use in certain countries.

steamdb.info offers a more detailed look at regionally restricted packages of games if you need to know more.

in the end, it all depends on the "Government's policy on the Gaming Industry".

not the game developers and not the game publishers.

-----------------------------------------------------------

if a certain Country's Government prevents the Game Developers and Game Publishers, their games from being allowed to play in their country

then the game will not be able to play in that country.

-------------------------------------------------------

Government interference has nothing to do with Region Restrictions.

p.s kindly read OP's post thoroughly please "Ettanin".

the same applied to Movies as well.

there are movies that are being restricted from being watch on this country or that country.

and those restrictions are due to Government decisions on the Movie Industry.
