Steam DNS got messed up

hi , i was playing TF2 yesterday , while my VPN was on ( i forgot to turn it off) and the power went out , and now , when i try to play tf2 or use the client it says error code 105 .
but when i turn on my VPN , there is no problem and it runs ok .
when the VPN is off and i set 8.8.8.8 DNS in my IPV4 , the steam works fien , but when i don't use the 8.8.8.8 dns it doesn't work again ,
i have tried these bellow

1) i tried uninstalling steam
2) flushing DNS via CMD
3) reseting network settings
4) configing new ip
5) unchecking proxy / vpn usage on WIN 10 settings
6) reset steam download cache
7) turning on/off the modem

is there a way i can reset steam DNS only ? or what else can i do to fix this issue :)))) ?
