sorry can someone plz help a very paranoid noob who just started using steam

question1-i kept getting scared that im gonna get banned from steam cuz i kept deleting files and reinstalling everything, will you get banned for these things? like deleting files by accident ? just game files after you uninstalled them and some steam files.
question2- why can i still run steam after i uninstalled it?? i have to delete all steam files manually, which circles back to my previous question.
question3- how will you get banned from steam and can you request some sort of second chance if they did it by mistake?
question4- my storage looks VERY odd, it seems to decrease every time i reinstall steam, did i not uninstall it completely??
im pretty sure i have more questions but this is it for now, appreciate yall spending your time to help me:D

sorry i know these are probably dumb questions, i just got steam and dont wanna do anything that may risk my account. having steam is like half a dream come true since i never thought i would own a laptop that can actually run games without exploding. again, appreciate all help and sorry if this is getting in your way.

Removing and re-adding files won't get you banned ... But playing around like that will probably mess up your client installation.

Install once and then download your games.

Nobody here can help you with that.

I can try and alleviate your anxiety by saying you won't get banned from Steam, but I know from experience how well telling an anxious person "don't worry" works.

Instead I'll say that as a noob, any mistakes you make now are simply lessons learned for later. That's progress.

Answer 1: No that will not get you banned.

Answer 2 for and 4: Sounds like something is interfering with the uninstall possess or your client installation is messed up.

Answer 3: Steam has a number of different types of bans. Ranging from forums bans, community bans, game bans, VAC bans, and Steam account restrictions.

As for getting a second chance.... It depends on the ban your get. For forum, community and account restrictions you can contact Steam Support.

For Game bans it's up to the game's devs if they accept appeals or not. For example Valve does NOT accept appeals for game's they made. CS2, DOTA 2 etc...
