My friend bought me GTA V criminal enterprise and I am unable to accept the gift

As the title says I can't accept a gift of GTA that a friend has bought me. I tried sending a report already but I have a feeling it won't help with this and I'm more worried about him having wasted his money on me.

What is happening when you try to accept it?

If you don't accept it within 30 days, the purchase is automatically refunded to your friend.

Do you own the base game? Because you need it to accept the DLC.

Insufficient privilege means you don't own the base game because Criminal Enterprise is a DLC. Have your friend gift you the Premium Edition bundle instead.
